Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the District of Lakeland No. 521 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 17-2013, known as the Zoning Bylaw and intends to adopt Bylaw No. 16-2020, known as the Recreational Accommodation Provisions Bylaw.

Public Notice: Supplemental Public Meeting for Elk Ridge Application for Resort Village Status

Job – Seasonal Permit Clerk

Lakeland District Protective Services (LDPS) is accepting applications for a seasonal full-time Permit Clerk. This summer position is to assist in several special projects for the summer 2021 while providing additional support in the municipality’s operations attending to the application of municipal law, regulations, licencing, permits, land use and environmental compliance. This 16-week position is anticipated to have a start date in mid-May pending support from the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Job – LDPS Seasonal Officer

Lakeland District Protective Services is accepting applications for a full-time seasonal term Municipal Law Enforcement Officer position. This position is open to experienced officers meeting the standards and requirements to receive a Special Constable appointment, pursuant to The Police Act, 1990 by the Minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety as part of their Community Safety Officer Program.
This position is located in beautiful lake country with its headquarters in Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan. It is anticipated this position will be filled in early May pending support from the Canada Summer Jobs program.
