Please be advised that Cam and Dee Smith, owners of Dee’s Confectionary at 604 Southshore Drive, have made an application to use a recreational vehicle for staff accommodation as an accessory use on the property.

Pursuant to the District of Lakeland’s Zoning Bylaw, this is a discretionary use in the C2 Zone, Retail and Service Commercial District.  All property owners located within a 75-meter radius from the above-mentioned property are required to receive notice of this potential development.

Residents within 75-meters have been mailed to to attend the meeting by Zoom or in person to express their point of view on the proposal to use a recreational vehicle as staff accommodation, but any member of the public can attend council meeting and sign up for the Zoom mailing list here.
