The District of Lakeland No 521 is accepting applications from qualified individuals for a seasonal maintenance position. Duties include but are not limited to operating equipment and attachments, driving trucks, installing culverts, steaming culverts, operating chainsaws, installing signs, mowing grass, as well as manual shovel work. Salary to commensurate with experience.
Minimum class 5 licence required. A current criminal record check will be required upon hire.
Class 1A licence, “G” endorsement on licence, chainsaw operating certificate, PME, equipment operating certificates, strong public relations, ability to work as part of a team, and mechanical aptitude are an asset.
